Welspun’s HR Head Rajesh Padmanabhan Quits

Rajesh Padmanabhan, Director and Group CHRO, Welspun Group quits, planning new innings as an entrepreneur in Talent, Technology & Transformation areas.

Rajesh is an influential senior global HR leader. He joined Welspun Group in February 2016 as Director and Group Chief Human Resources Officer. Here during his tenure, he has led Group HR, driven Cultural Transformation, advised and worked on Digital footprint, supported Businesses with Strategy, Innovation, and Business Excellence. 

Prior to this, Rajesh has been President and Group Chief Human Resources Officer of oil and mining conglomerate, Vedanta Group. As Group CHRO, Vedanta Resources, he created the platform for enabling businesses with cost-effective strategies, culture building, leadership effectiveness, driving people growth with a clear vision, capability development & high engagement levels across the group

Previously he also worked with companies like Capgemini, The Oberoi Group, Essel Propack, and the ICICI group in a variety of roles.

Rajesh has over three decades of global industry experience in finance, systems, and human resources. He is a highly engaging person, an effective speaker and communicator, impactful social influencer, and a successful life coach in the areas of happiness, success, relationship, and results. He is a proven culture builder and does it with ease because of his long-standing global experience. 

He has a double masters in finance and human resources from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
