TCS Digital Hiring: registration ends on 15 April 2022

India’s largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring fresh graduates and postgraduates from the year of passing 2022 under the TCS Digital Hiring Drive.

TCS, which hired 43,000 freshers in the first half of fiscal 2022, said in the third quarter itself it hired the 34,000 freshers planned for the entire second half and will likely hire more in the fourth quarter.

TCS added 28,238 people in the q3, December 2021 ending quarter, a mix of fresh engineering graduates and lateral hires with a consolidated headcount of over 5 lakhs with a diverse workforce comprising 147 nationalities.

However, the company’s attrition rose to 15.3% from 11.9% in the second quarter but it was still below the industry levels.

The company said in a statement, “The turning point in your career can come early with our TCS Digital Hiring Drive for remarkable engineering graduates from the Year of Passing (YoP) 2022.”

How to Register

The application process for TCS Digital Hiring for YoP 2022 comprises of below mandatory steps: 

Step 1. Logon to the TCS Next Step Portal here

Step 2. Register and complete the application form on TCS NextStep portal. The status of your application should be ‘Application Received’ or above

Scenario A. If you are a registered user, kindly login and proceed to complete the application form

Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on ‘Register Now’, then choose the category as “IT” and proceed to fill out your details. After that, submit your application form

Step 3.  Upon submission you would be prompted to the “Apply for Drive” screen. Click on Apply

Step 4. In the Track Your Application menu, the status should be updated as “Applied for Drive”

At the end of December, TCS has 556,986 employees on its rolls with more than 200,000 women who made up 36% of its workforce.

Recently, IT majors Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture and Cognizant have topped the list of each of the 2022 Top Companies list for India by LinkedIn. 

The company has announced to report the Q4 Results for FY22 on April 11.
