AICTE, in collaboration with Zencast, has announced a new virtual internship for candidates interested in cybersecurity.
This 12-week program is centered on securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS), which are used in critical sectors like manufacturing, utilities, and transportation.
Program Details
Interns will help find weaknesses in industrial systems, evaluate threats, and design systems that can block cyberattacks.
The work includes real-life case studies involving attacks on essential services. Interns will learn how to prevent unwanted access and create solid defenses against digital threats.
The virtual internship starts immediately and runs for 12 weeks. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of ₹18,000.
The application window is open until August 6, 2025. The program officially begins on July 14, 2025.
What Interns Will Gain
Interns will work on real projects related to automation and IoT, gaining direct experience with modern tools and threats. This exposure offers a clear look into how cybersecurity works in large industrial settings.
The program also provides networking chances and skill-building opportunities that may lead to a job offer after completion.
A certificate will be awarded at the end of the internship to all participants who meet the program requirements.
Who Can Apply
The virtual internship is open to students and graduates from any background. Candidates must be available for the full 12-week period. The deadline ends on August 06, 2025.
Interest in cybersecurity and some basic knowledge of how systems work will be useful. Only two positions are available, so early application is advised.
Work Expectations
Selected interns will follow project goals, join regular meetings, and provide weekly updates. They must meet all deadlines and respect the privacy of sensitive company data.
Clear and respectful communication is expected, along with steady progress on assigned tasks.
Summary
This internship from Zencast gives candidates a rare chance to work in one of the most critical areas of cybersecurity.
With limited seats and strong real-world learning, the program is ideal for those looking to get ahead in this field.
Interested candidates should visit AICTE Internship Portal and apply before the August 6 deadline.
