Hitachi Energy appoints Balmiki Mishra as Regional HR Leader – APAC. He will be based in Vadodara, Gujarat, and will lead the people strategy for Asia Pacific region.
Balmiki shared the update on LinkedIn, saying he is excited to take on his new role at Hitachi Energy, a company guided by its vision, “Inspire the Next.” He said the welcome he received has been warm and encouraging. He also noted the strong sense of shared goals and teamwork across the organization.
He added that he looks forward to learning from his colleagues and contributing to the company’s plans. He said he is eager to grow with the team as they work together to build for the future.
Extensive Experience
Balmiki Mishra is an HR professional with over 20 years of experience across the energy, automotive, and pharmaceutical sectors. He has worked in both manufacturing and corporate settings, leading people strategy and supporting business goals.
He has managed large teams, guided culture change, and aligned talent plans with company needs. He is a strong supporter of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He focuses on fair hiring, open work culture, and learning programs that help employees grow. He has also led career development and leadership programs to build strong internal talent.
Before joining Hitachi Energy, he was Head – HR, Hydro Power Asia at GE Vernova. He earlier held senior HR roles at GE Renewable Energy and GE Grid Solutions. He also supported the merger of General Electric and Alstom in India.
He holds an MHRM and LLB from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda
