Janes Appoints Chaithanya Pai as HR Director -India, APAC & Middle East
Janes has appointed Chaithanya Pai as HR Director – India, APAC & Middle East at Janes Defense, effective February 2026.
Based in India, she will lead the people and culture agenda across the region. She will work closely with business leaders to improve company performance, guide talent plans, and support growth.
In this role, she will strengthen HR processes across the region, build workforce skills, and align talent plans with Janes Defense’s growing presence in India, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Extensive Experience
Chaithanya brings more than 17 years of experience in human resources. Her background includes HR business partnering, HR consulting, and leading mergers and acquisitions across countries.
Before joining Janes, Chaithanya was Assistant Vice President – Human Resources at Accenture. There, she supported M&A integration and led key HR programs. She also held leadership roles at E2open, where she managed HR operations and business partnering across India.
Earlier in her career, she worked in senior HR roles at DXC Technology, including an assignment in London, as well as at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM India Pvt. Ltd. She built strong experience in global HR operations and large-scale change programs.
With broad industry experience and a global outlook, Chaithanya is expected to play an important role in strengthening Janes’ regional people strategy and building a strong, results-driven culture that supports the company’s goals.
She earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from the University of Mumbai in 2008.
