Metso Appoints Sujata Yadav as Vice President – HR (MEI)

Metso has appointed Sujata Yadav as Vice President – Human Resources (MEI), effective January 2026.

Based in Gurugram, Haryana, she will lead the people and culture agenda for Metso’s MEI operations. In this role, she will guide workforce strategy, organizational change, and talent development to support the company’s growth plans.

Extensive Experience

Sujata brings more than 18 years of experience in global HR leadership and business change across multi-site operations, engineering centers, and commercial teams. She has a strong record of aligning people strategy with business goals and building workforces that are ready for future needs.

Her focus areas include diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership development, succession planning, change management, and HR digital systems. She is known for promoting clear communication, strong cultural alignment, and steady growth.

Before joining Metso, Sujata served as Head of Human Resources at Gates Corporation. She also spent over five years at Smiths Group plc, where she advanced from HR Business Partner to Head of HR – India.

During her time there, she helped shape Smiths India into a key global hub by aligning policies, putting digital HR systems in place, updating rewards programs, and launching major talent initiatives. Earlier in her career, Sujata held roles at Emerson Network Power, DENSO, and UNO MINDA Group.

She holds an MBA and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
