PI Industries appoints Kamali Rajesh as global chief people officer

PI Industries Ltd, one of India’s leading Agriscience and Fine Chemical companies, has appointed Kamali Rajesh as its Global Chief People Officer, effective January 2026.

In this role, she will lead the company’s global people and culture efforts, build a strong leadership pipeline, and align HR strategies with PI Industries’ long-term growth and innovation goals.

With her wide global HR experience and strong focus on leadership and talent, her appointment is expected to support PI Industries’ people-first culture and steady growth across global markets.

Extensive Experience

Kamali has nearly 30 years of global HR experience across agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, and consumer goods. She most recently spent over eight years at Syngenta, where she held senior roles including Global Head – People and Organisation Development, Head of Human Resources APAC, and Head HR ASEAN.

In these roles, she helped drive large-scale organizational change, leadership growth, and talent planning across diverse markets in Asia and worldwide.

Before Syngenta, Kamali worked at Ford Motor Company in senior HR leadership roles across Asia Pacific and Africa. Her work covered hiring, learning and development, HR support for manufacturing and IT, and regional people planning.

Earlier, she also worked with PepsiCo and Vibormech Engineering, gaining strong experience in core HR operations and people management.

Kamali holds a certificate in neuroscience from MIT Sloan, CBT training from Beck Institute, and a master’s degree in human resources from DG Vaishnav India.
