Following the recovery of a suicide note, the Bhosari police registered a formal First Information Report (FIR).

This document charges three individuals with abetment to suicide.

Among those booked are two female TCS employees accused of subjecting the tech veteran to systemic corporate hostility.

The victim had maintained a stable ten-year tenure with the IT services exporter.

According to the police, the structural distress escalated under his immediate reporting managers, identified in police logs as Archana and Shashwati.

A formal complaint lodged by the engineer’s 19-year-old son outlines a toxic work environment.

The recovered suicide note alleges that the two female colleagues routinely subjected the engineer to public humiliation in front of his peers.

The document also claims they stripped him of crucial project assignments without justification, gave him negative feedback threats, and repeatedly pressured him to resign.

The distress extended into his personal life.

The managers reportedly denied him vital leave requests during a critical period when his wife was suffering from cancer.

Intersecting Personal Disputes

The investigation reveals a layered case involving outside professional stress.

Alongside the two TCS employees, the police booked a family friend, Vinod Palicha, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 108 (abetment of suicide) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons with a shared objective).

Senior Police Inspector Sandeep Ghorpade confirmed that Palicha allegedly targeted the victim with a false legal notice claiming cheating and theft.

Investigators noted that this secondary dispute arose from Palicha’s internal marital issues, for which he improperly blamed the victim.

Caught between compounding legal threats at home and intense hostility at work, the victim felt entirely isolated.

Corporate Accountability and Next Steps

In response to the tragedy, TCS released an official statement emphasizing its commitment to employee well-being and a supportive work culture.

The IT major confirmed it is actively validating the internal allegations against the two managers.

The company is also providing full cooperation to the Pimpri-Chinchwad police infrastructure.
