Trident appoints Pooja B Luthra as Group CHRO

Trident, the manufacturer of a wide range of products in categories of home textiles, stationery, paper, yarn, and chemicals has announced the appointment of Pooja B Luthra as Group Chief Human Resource Officer.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the entire gamut of the people and culture agenda of Trident Group and will report to Rajinder Gupta, Chairman of the organization.

Pooja B Luthra is a seasoned HR leader with over two decades of rich experience in human resources. Her career has transcended geographical boundaries where she has had the opportunity to drive key people strategy in organizations worldwide.

She spent the last two decades working with CXOs in North America, MENA, and APAC to build organizations they dream of. Her work has transcended across organizations – Accenture, Airtel, Astra Zeneca, Apollo Hospitals, Daimler, GSK, Hero Motocorp, HCL, Mashreq Bank, VE Commercial to name a few.

An organizational psychologist from Chicago, IL, Pooja uses principles of behavioural economics to tailor and deliver leadership solutions starting from access to the right leadership talent to right fitment, alignment, goal-building, leadership talent development across cultures, employees, and stakeholder engagement, and organic growth consulting.

Pooja has founded Humane InsightsTM in October 2020 with a vision to bring global learning closer to home. Humane InsightsTM is focused on transforming homegrown organizations into talent magnets with one underlying principle: Being Humane!

Earlier, she has been associated with Gallup as Practice Lead for more than a decade. Pooja did an internship at Max New York Like Insurance, had started her career at The Trident Group, India itself in 2002, and worked here for close to 1 year before joining Chicago School of Professional Psychology as a fellow.

She did Post Graduation in Global Business Operations from Shri Ram College of Commerce and has also earned a master’s degree in Organisational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Pooja is also a Board Member of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd and Trident Group India.
