Ashok Leyland gets Raja Radhakrishnan as President & Head– HR

Hinduja Group owned, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has appointed Raja Radhakrishnan as President and Head – HR. He replaced Amanppreet Singh Bhatia who is recently elevated as Group President – HR, Hinduja Group.

Prior to joining Ashok Leyland, Raja was associated with Hitachi Energy India Limited as Country HR Director.

He has over two decades of experience in leading HR initiatives at the country, regional and global levels. With a solid track record of creating a performance-oriented culture, Raja has built, led, and supported teams to drive business transformation across different geographies.

Raja joined ABB in 1996 as a management trainee. In his most recent role, he was the Global Business Services (GBS) HR Functional Lead for ABB Group, based in Zurich.

Before to this, he served in various roles in the HR function, including as the Country HR Manager for ABB in India. He was the driving force in setting up the new GBS HR Center in Bangalore and in leading the HR transformation for the AMEA Region.

Having worked in different geographies and cultures, Raja has gained in-depth experience in all facets of HR, with a focus on building a dynamic culture and developing organizational capabilities.

His areas of expertise include Strategic Business Partnering, Leadership Development, Operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma, and Leading Service Delivery, globally.

He is passionate about helping individuals, teams, and businesses in reaching their highest potential and finds great satisfaction in building capabilities that facilitate individual and business growth.
