Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital has inaugurated its first Learning Centre at its Anna Nagar Branch in Chennai. Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital sets up ambitious training programs to foster employee growth and organizational excellence.

The learning and development programs will be taught through customized modules developed by its in-house subject matter experts.

Dr Agarwals, VP – Operations, Nandha Kumar said, “The training will cover all aspects of social interaction and leadership development. This strategic approach is intended to nurture internal talent, with a clear focus on preparing individuals within the organization for future leadership roles.”

The eye care chain, which opened its 100th hospital in 2021, has now expanded to over 150 hospitals in just two years, showcasing remarkable growth, and plans for 50 more branches by the year 2025.

Kiran Narayan, VP – Supply Chain and Operation, Dr Agarwals said, “As we foster a culture of continuous learning and development, we envision a future where stakeholders from various departments of the group undergo training, ensuring holistic growth.”

“By dedicating 12800 man-hours to this robust training initiative, Dr Agarwals demonstrates its dual commitment: to excellence in eye care and the growth of its employees,” says Ramanathan V, Chief Human Resource Officer, Dr Agarwals Group.

Growing exponentially at this rate, while investing time and infrastructure in learning and development emphasizes the importance the group puts on its training programs.

In the year 2022, a substantial 51% of the organization’s workforce actively engaged in its training interventions, exhibiting that learning is the cornerstone of Dr Agarwals’ organizational growth.
