Adani Group elevates Dr. Samir as CPO, Clean Energy Businesses

Adani Group elevates Dr. Samir Mishra as Chief People Officer (CPO) for its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen (GH2), and Electrolyzer verticals.

In his new role, Dr. Mishra will be responsible for shaping the people strategy across Adani’s clean energy businesses.

His focus will be on aligning talent practices with the Group’s long-term sustainability goals, nurturing agile leadership, and fostering an inclusive, future-ready workforce.

Extensive Background and Experience

Dr. Mishra brings over a decade of experience in human resources leadership across diverse sectors.

Prior to this role, he has been contributing as Head- Human Resources at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd. Previously, he held key positions at Mumbai International Airport Limited and Tata Power.

His expertise spans organizational transformation, talent development, and people-centric growth strategies, making him well-equipped to lead HR initiatives in Adani’s emerging energy domains.

An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Dr. Mishra holds an MBA in Human Resources Management.

He actively contributed to institutional leadership during his academic tenure, serving on committees such as the Alumni and Social Responsibility Cells.

He earned Ph.D. in HRM from Sri Balaji University, Pune.
