Aon gets Alok Mathur as Chief Operating Officer for Human Capital

A British-American professional services and management consulting firm, Aon has announced the appointment of Alok Mathur as Chief Operating Officer for Human Capital.

Alok is an operations and strategy leader with over two decades of experience in helping companies transform and manage change to deliver P&L growth.

He has served clients in the financial services industry (Banking and Insurance) as a Principal at Accenture and McKinsey while also holding senior leadership positions responsible for delivering transformation in large global organizations like JLT and Mercer.

He has led analytics and consulting teams of over 150 people and delivered changes to strategy, operations, and technology in countries spanning the US and Canada, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, India, South East Asia, and the Pacific.

Prior to Aon, Alok was associated with Marsh McLennan as COO of Global Darwin Delivery, Marsh Mercer Benefits. In the role as the Chief Operating Officer for Mercer UK, he was part of the UK Executive Leadership team responsible for executing the strategy for the firm.

His earlier stints include working with Lehman Brothers, AXA, and i2 Technologies.

He holds his Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and completed his Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
