Genesys International appoints Pavan Tsunduru as COO

Genesys International, one of the leading homegrown players in mapping technology has announced the appointment of Mr. Pavan Tsunduru as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role, Mr. Pavan Tsunduru will lead the charge in steering the Company’s vision to build the new map stack in India as well as globally.

With a strategic focus on leveraging geospatial technology, Mr. Tsunduru’s role will be instrumental in deploying innovative solutions across diverse sectors at Genesys such as utilities, e-commerce/logistics, transportation networks, and the aerial ecosystem.

Mr. Sajid Malik, the Chairman and Managing Director of Genesys International, said “Pavan will be a pivotal addition to our team as we scale to address a host of verticals with our platform and applications.”

“He has seen and implemented scale and we look forward to an exciting journey ahead”, he added.

Commenting on his new role, Mr. Pavan Tsunduru said, “I believe that there is a large opportunity India has in adopting geospatial technologies to build the economic traction the country is pursuing. ”

The appointment underscores Genesys’ commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements worldwide. With Mr. Tsunduru’s extensive experience and strategic vision, Genesys is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the global digital infrastructure landscape and contributing significantly to India’s technological advancement and economic growth.

Mr. Tsunduru has a distinguished career spanning over two decades. He has held senior technology positions at major Indian corporations, including Reliance, where he was head of group IT strategy, Adani, – CIO Adani ports and GMR Group – MD of group company GeoKno India Private Ltd.

He has displayed unique expertise in deploying high-impact technology solutions for large-scale nationwide digital infrastructure projects in his illustrious career.
