IIFL Finance Appoints Preeti Kannan as Chief HR Officer

Mumbai-based non-banking financial company, IIFL Finance, has made a significant leadership appointment. IIFL Finance has announced the appointment of Preeti Kannan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Preeti Kannan: Background and Expertise

Preeti Kannan brings an impressive 25 years of experience to her new role. She is known for her impact-oriented approach and her ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across various Indian and multinational organizations.

Prior to joining IIFL Finance, Preeti held key HR positions at several prominent companies.

As the Head of HR for Retail Asset, Corporate Functions, Technology, and People Engagement, Preeti played a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s talent management strategies.

Her tenure at Bajaj Finance provided her with insights into the non-banking financial sector, which will undoubtedly benefit the company.

The diverse experiences at Fujitsu Consulting, Oracle Financial Services, Mindtree, and Symbiosis College have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices across different industries.

Preeti Kannan holds an MBA in HR from Pune University and an MS in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Mumbai University. 

Her educational foundation, combined with her practical experience, equips her to address the complex challenges of hr management.
