Nestlé Appoints Navin Kumar as Factory HR Head

Nestlé, a global leader in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, has announced the appointment of Navin Kumar as Factory HR Head.

Navin Kumar, an accomplished HR professional with over 16 years of experience, steps into this pivotal role after a remarkable tenure at Tata Steel.

He has expressed his commitment to leveraging his expertise to optimize HR operations, enhance employee satisfaction, and contribute to Nestlé’s mission of delivering high-quality products to consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities at Nestlé

In his new role as Factory HR Head at Nestlé, Navin Kumar will take charge of HR operations.

He will oversee activities at one of the company’s key manufacturing facilities.

His responsibilities will include talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance management, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Navin’s strategic vision and leadership skills are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing Nestlé’s HR practices and aligning them with the company’s global standards.

Navin Kumar’s Career Journey

Navin Kumar’s professional journey is marked by significant achievements in human resources and industrial relations.

An alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), where he earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PGDPM&IR), Navin has consistently demonstrated his expertise in HR strategy and operations.

His career began at ACC, where he served as Assistant Manager-HR&EW in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.

He then joined Tata Steel, embarking on a 16-year journey that saw him lead HR initiatives across shared services, manufacturing divisions, and greenfield projects.

Navin held various leadership roles at Tata Steel during his tenure.

These included serving as Head HRBP for the Bearings Division and Head BU HRM for the Noamundi OMQ Division.

During his tenure at Tata Steel, he demonstrated a strong ability to drive organizational growth.

He also excelled in fostering employee engagement and implementing innovative HR solutions.
