Castrol India appoints Kedar Lele as Managing Director

Castrol India has announced the appointment of Kedar Lele as Managing Director (MD), effective November 1, 2024. This term will span five years.

The company expressed confidence in Lele’s leadership abilities and believes his expertise will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success during his tenure.

Kedar Lele will replace Sandeep Sangwan as Managing Director, a role Sangwan has held since January 2020.

He is a well-rounded business leader, Kedar has had over two decades of experience across Advertising, Internet companies, FMCG Marketing, Sales & Customer Development, and General Management.

Kedar represents diversity in a conventional business. His choice of education & career demonstrates adaptability, curiosity, insight, and relationship management.

Having started his career in advertising, Kedar spent a few years in Internet businesses gaining critical experience in consumer & B2B marketing, product management, advanced solution selling, customer & alliances management, and category development.

Prior to Castrol India, he was associated with Unilever where he has been working since 2010.

Kedar holds his Master in Business Administration from Indian School of Business and completed his Bachelor of Commerce from The Bhopal School of Social Sciences.
