Century Plyboards India appoints Rakesh Tiga as CHRO

Century Plyboards (India) Limited has announced the appointment of Rakesh Tiga as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plans and strategic direction of the organization.

He will be responsible for the custodian of organizational culture and effectiveness, Facilitator of talent acquisition and development with leadership bench-strength & people, and Change agent for institution building & transformation. Further, he will create and maintain high-performance culture across levels & locations.

Rakesh has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Century Plyboards (India) Limited!”

Rakesh is a seasoned HR professional with nearly two and half decades of rich and diverse experience in the entire gamut of HR functions.

During his tenure across the industries, he has worked with business leaders to achieve shared organizational objectives, in particular, designing and implementing HR systems, processes, and practices that support strategic business goals.

Rakesh has partnered for Business Transformation with rich experience in Human Resources in the manufacturing industries. He is passionate about driving organizational performance through people and bringing about Organizational Transformation through culture change.

Prior to Century Plyboards (India) Limited, Rakesh was associated with ABG Hindalco Industries Ltd (Ranchi) as Head of HR. In this role, he was responsible for the entire gamut of HR & IR activities. He worked with the organization for over 7 years from September 2014 – March 2022·

He is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur. Rakesh started his career stint working with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) as HR Manager. He worked with the organization for over 11 years.
