ElasticRun ropes in Salil Chinchore as CHRO from Godrej

A B2B eCommerce platform for rural India, ElasticRun has announced the appointment of Salil Chinchore as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Salil Chinchore, Chief Human Resources Officer, ElasticRun said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at ElasticRun!

Salil is an HR Professional with nearly 25 years of rich and diverse experience in Human Resources Function as well as in General Management with reputed organizations. He is consistently rated high and rewarded with challenging assignments throughout his career.

He has successfully led diverse HR responsibilities in the areas of Organization Strategy & Design, Talent & Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Global HR, Labor Relations & Collective Bargaining, Change Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Prior to ElasticRun, Salil was associated with Godrej Agrovet Limited as Head- Human Resources. In this role, Salil was responsible for heading HR & IR of India’s biggest Agri-conglomerate GAVL and leads 30 people strong complete HR team of all verticals/Business Units.

As the senior HR Business Partner of Godrej HR leadership Team provides HR thought leadership to improve the effectiveness of GAVL Human Resources/Talent practices. He provided support and counsel to senior leadership in achieving business objectives and building organizational and talent capability.

Earlier, Salil was associated with Pidilite Industries Limited as President – HR. In this role, he was heading HR for the reputed Indian multinational Pidilite Industries Limited.

Previously, Salil had worked with organizations such as TE Connectivity, Mondelēz International, Cadbury plc., and Asian Paints.

Salil is an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He completed his bachelor’s from Fergusson College.
