Growisto appoints ex-IBM, Wipro exec Shweta Setia as the Head-HR

Growisto, an eCommerce marketing, and technology company has recently appointed Shweta Setia as the Head- Human Resources. Shweta comes with over a decade of experience in Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Development, Performance Management, and HR operations.

Before joining Growisto, Shweta has helped scale HR functions of start-ups and greenfield setups from the ground up. She has experience working with multinationals like IBM and WIPRO as well as niche firms such as Delphix and Rare Mile.

Shweta will be heading the human resources function and will be responsible for shaping the people’s agenda to enable growth and scale. She will closely work with the leaders to drive strategic talent management initiatives and dissemination of the company’s core values and culture across the organization.

On her appointment, Kiran Patil, co-founder of Growisto said “There is a big boom in the e-commerce sector right now, having an HR leader like Shweta will be instrumental to Growisto’s next phase of growth. We received over 600 applications for this role and Shweta was the one selected among them. We will be a team of 100 members by this year-end and planning to double our team size by 2021”.

Talking about her role, Shweta Setia said “I believe that Talent is the biggest asset of the company and most of the business challenges can be solved through the lens of people. I am committed to building a strong positive culture of openness and transparency, empathy and respect, accountability, and continuous learning in Growisto.”
