Polycab India appoints ex- Tata Motors Head- HR, Rajesh Nair as Executive President & Chief Human Resources Officer

Polycab India appoints ex- Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles biz HR Head Rajesh Nair as Executive President & Chief Human Resources Officer, effective from May 2021.

Rajesh has almost three decades of experience working with Tata Motors. He had joined Tata Motors as a Management Trainee, worked in different HR, Sales & Marketing functions, and has held several leadership positions that include managing Safari and Sumo brands, heading sales and service for the western region, among others.

Nair started his career at Partech Computers as a sales executive after completing his Graduate Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering in 1990.

Later, he also earned a Master’s degree in Marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai University in 1993. He also holds a diploma in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.
