Wipro appoints Rohit Vishal Gupta for Global HR role

Wipro appoints Rohit Vishal Gupta for a global Human Resources role, effective August 11, 2021. Earlier, he was working as Chief Human Resources Officer, South Asia at Wipro GE Healthcare.

Announcing his appointment Rohit said on a Social Media post, “Today is my last day at the iconic organization GE. The last 4 years will always have a place of pride in my heart and in my career for being the most transformative, educative, and growth-oriented years on my career. Can’t thank all my colleagues and seniors enough for having guided coached advised me in this journey. I move to another iconic organisation Wipro Ltd in a global role from tomorrow.”

An alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Rohit has over two decades of experience in human resources working across the Healthcare, Packaging & Printing, FMCG, and Garment industries.

Before joining GE Healthcare, Rohit worked at ITC  for over 18 years. Here he was responsible for Printing and Packaging Business operations. In 2004, he joined Surya Nepal where he worked for over two years, before rejoining ITC in 2006 in the personal care products business in its startup phase.
