Infosys & Cognizant is turning out to be the CEO factory for India. The two companies have built great leaders for senior roles.

Mohit Joshi and Ravi Kumar S have strong leadership qualities and Infosys has generated two great leaders. Apart from this, Cognizant has also produced leaders including Debashis Chatterjee the current CEO of LTI Mindtree, and Vipul Khanna current CEO of Firstsource.

Recently, Tech Mahindra MD & CEO CP Gurnani will retire on 19th December 2023 and Mohit Joshi joined Tech Mahindra from Infosys.

Mohit was the President of the company. He has over two decades of experience in the Enterprise technology software & consulting space and has worked with the largest corporations in the world in driving digital transformation and building thriving businesses.

Apart from this Former Infosys President Ravi Kumar S who recently resigned from the company had joined President of Cognizant Americas.

Mohit Joshi and Ravi Kumar S both contenders for CEO left the organization as the current CEO Salil Parekh’s contract got extended in July 2022 for an additional five years.

Such frequent changes in the top management at some IT behemoths have earned them the moniker “CEO factories.” These companies generally produced a good number of CEOs because they are well-managed, well-governed companies. Additionally, such systems will always produce leaders with leadership qualities.

As per the IT industries are concerned Infosys and Cognizant have produced most of the CEOs that have come out. However, Wipro has been very good as far as the entrepreneurial-talent-producing capability is concerned.

Infosys has a total employee count stood of nearly 3,46,845 and Cognizant has a total headcount of nearly 355,300 employees. Both companies will continue to generate new leaders out of their workforce.
