The online food delivery platform, Zomato offered 1.6 crore salary package to IIT Delhi student and then withdrew it.

Hrithik Talwar shared a post on social media platform X (formally Twitter). He has shared a screenshot of the withdrawal letter in his post.

The post has gone Viral. The post read, “Zomato came to the campus, offered 1.6 cr salary, got the hype, and left.”

The notification read, “Update about application Withdrawal: Students who have used their applications for applying in the below profiles can withdraw their applications as these profiles won’t be visiting due to company constraints”

One user wrote, “Wasn’t it supposed to be 16L and it got mistyped as 1.6 cr bruh”

Another user wrote, “Zomato craves for any kind of publicity!”

However, the company has not commented anything regarding the offer withdrawal.

Recently, Zomato announced the launch of a comprehensive maternity insurance plan for the female delivery partners onboarded with Zomato.

This industry-first initiative underlines Zomato’s commitment to building an inclusive ecosystem for female delivery partners and providing essential support during this transformative journey.

The insurance plan will cover expenses related to pregnancy consisting of birth and any maternity complication, thereby providing assurance and financial security to such female delivery partners and their families.
