TCS rescheduled test, extends application closing date for freshers jobs

As announced, India’s biggest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services or TCS will be hiring over 40,000 freshers from campuses in India in the fiscal year 2021-22. The company had also hired 40,000 graduates from campuses in 2020.

Tapping into the need for virtual recruitment and internships the company had launched TCS iON, a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) that conducts virtual examinations through National Qualifier Test.

TCS iON has rescheduled examination and extended application closing date for freshers jobs. Earlier, the company had scheduled National Qualifier Test on 31st August and the application closing date was 15th August.

New Test & Application Closing Date

Test Date: 12^th September 2021 onwards

Application Closing Date: 29^th August 2021

National Qualifier Test

TCS National Qualifier Test (TCS NQT) is a multi-level assessment to assess the following competencies and skills:

• Competence on the core cognitive processes required for entry-level jobs
• Industry-specific knowledge and insights
• Specialisation on skills required to perform various job roles

About the Test

• NQT (Cognitive Skills) is a prerequisite for all the tests
• Two-year validity of NQT Score
• Conducted online (at home) and physical In-Centre at TCS iON Authorised Exam Centres
• Candidates with NQT Score will be eligible to apply on the TCS iON Job Listing Portal
• Apply for any entry-level role in any corporate with the NQT Score

Who can Apply

• UG, PG and Diploma students in their pre-final and final year
• Students with any degree and specialisation/discipline
• Freshers with less than 2 years of experience

• 4 Practice Tests – 2 for Cognitive Skills and 2 for IT Programming are available with 5 attempts each

^*NQT (Cognitive Skills) Score is a prerequisite for all the tests.

How to Apply and Fee

Interested candidates can register on the Official Website. There is a nominal fee for NQT (Cognitive Skills) and Attitudinal Alignment NQT (Psychometric Test).
