Dholka Nagar Palika, in collaboration with the Swachh Bharat Mission, has announced a two-month full-time internship program for young aspirants in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The program is aimed at engaging candidates in solid waste management, garbage-free city initiatives, and civil works contributing to sanitation and urban development goals.
Applications for the internship are open from September 12, 2025, with the last date to apply being September 19, 2025.
Program Details
The internship begins immediately upon selection and will last for two months. Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹8,000 per month.
The program does not offer academic credits but focuses on providing grassroots experience in urban infrastructure and cleanliness-related projects.
This initiative is in line with the Government of India’s larger goal of promoting citizen engagement and youth participation under the TULIP (The Urban Learning Internship Program) framework.
The Terms of Engagement will adhere strictly to the TULIP Handbook and its guidelines, ensuring that interns acquire structured exposure to government-led programs.
Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open exclusively to candidates pursuing or having pursued B.Com, Diploma in Engineering, or with specializations in B.Com, Civil Engineering, and Environment and Pollution Control.
Applicants must be available for the full two-month duration and should possess relevant skills and interest areas related to the role.
