Tech Mahindra will be giving the liberty to 25-30% of its workforce to work from home till March 2021.

Tech Mahindra said that it is in discussions with its clients to allow 25-30% of its employees to work from home (WFH) at least till March 2021. But amidst all these, one of the most crucial factors is data privacy, and referring to the same, the Chief Financial Officer of Tech Mahindra, Manoj Bhatt said that, this is perhaps one of the main reasons that the company has limited this number to 30% of the total employees of total strength.

He further said that we are also working on possible steps to implement the latest models of technology with which they would be able to carefully monitor all the work completed and also have a very sharp eye on data privacy.

Currently, the employee strength of Tech Mahindra is around 1.30 lakhs and it means that nearly 40000 of its employees won’t be coming to office, rather they would be completing all their tasks and meeting the important deadlines from home.

TCS has already announced that 75% of their workforce can be asked to work from home by 2025, and other IT firms like Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro had shown green flags to some of their employees to work from home.
