Snowman Logistics Adds 9,500+ Pallets with New Warehouses

Snowman Logistics Limited, India’s leading integrated temperature-controlled logistics provider, has announced the operational launch of two new state-of-the-art, owned warehouses in Kolkata and Krishnapatnam.

This strategic expansion adds 9,557 pallets to its national capacity, bringing the company’s total to 1,50,754 pallets across 43 warehouses in 20 cities.

The move reinforces Snowman’s commitment to enhancing cold chain infrastructure and meeting the growing demand for temperature-sensitive logistics solutions across India.

Snowman Logistics Facility Details: Capacity and Capabilities

The newly inaugurated facilities are designed to serve a wide range of industries, including:

  • Seafood and meat
  • Ice cream and dairy products
  • Ready-to-eat meals and QSR items
  • Confectionery and bakery goods
  • Fruits, vegetables, and pharmaceuticals

Kolkata Warehouse

  • Capacity: 5,630 pallets
  • Location: Strategically positioned to serve eastern India and port-based trade

Krishnapatnam Warehouse

  • Capacity: 3,927 pallets
  • Location: Near the Krishnapatnam Port, enhancing connectivity for southern and coastal logistics

Both facilities are equipped with advanced automation technologies to improve operational efficiency, ensure temperature integrity, and support seamless inventory management.

Pan-India Reach: A Robust Logistics Network

With the addition of these two warehouses, Snowman now operates:

  • 43 warehouses across 20 cities, including key hubs like Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata
  • A fleet of 296 owned and 325+ leased refrigerated vehicles, enabling last-mile delivery and nationwide coverage

This extensive network allows Snowman to offer end-to-end cold chain solutions, from farm to fork, across diverse sectors.

Leadership Commentary: Vision for Growth

Commenting on the milestone, Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman of Snowman Logistics, stated “The completion of our Kolkata and Krishnapatnam facility marks another significant step in our mission to provide best-in-class cold chain solutions.”

He added, “We are very confident that the requirement for cold chain will grow exponentially in the country, and we will continue to expand our network.”

His remarks underscore the company’s long-term vision to scale operations in response to India’s rising demand for reliable and efficient cold storage infrastructure.
