A distinguished market leader in providing Secure Logistics for the Diamond & Jewellery value chain, BVC Logistics has rolled out a new policy. This policy eliminates the traditional culture of working only from the office, during 9-6 pm and 6 days a week.

As COVID has changed the working pattern of organizations and they have introduced various policies such as work from home, Hybrid Model, and remote locations of working.

The new policy allows BVCites to work from any physical location, from home, or over 75 BVC offices in India. The employees can work at whichever time of the day at the time they’re most productive (whether midnight onward or 5 am onward).

The policy includes them working on whichever days of the week they feel they’ll add the most value. This new policy focuses on working exclusively for outcomes, not the number of hours.

Bhavik Chinai, Group CEO shared that the policy outlines what people look for in a job today. “We’re proud to have hundreds of BVCites with us for over 5, 10, 15 and 20 years. Some BVCites have worked with us for over 40 years! The new policy reflects our trust in our team through action, not just words and reinforces our 60-year-old-startup culture.”

BVC Logistics policy allows its teams to work from any location, any time of the day, and any day of the week. According to a statement, “The change reinforces BVC’s 60-year-old startup culture while placing heavy emphasis on the well-being of its 1500-plus member staff.”

The new attendance policy aims to achieve higher happiness for each BVCite. The team now also has ‘mandatory leaves’ each year to ensure each BVCite’s relationships beyond work become stronger, as per the statement.
