IFS Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

IFS, the leading provider of enterprise cloud and Industrial AI software, has taken a significant stride forward by appointing two seasoned executives to its Executive Board. 

These appointments are aimed at propelling IFS’s next phase of growth in the rapidly evolving world of Industrial AI.

Helena Nimmo Joins as Global Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Helena Nimmo, has assumed the role of IFS’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). She was formerly associated with Endava—a US-listed global technology company.

In her new capacity, Helena will engage with CIOs and tech leaders at IFS customers. She will be assisting them in their strategic transformation journeys.

Additionally, she will drive the effective application of technology within IFS. She will also be ensuring the delivery of better products and services to customers. 

Given IFS’s leadership in the adoption of Industrial AI worldwide, Helena will play a pivotal role in integrating AI across the community. She will be enabling exceptional moments of service for clients.

Debra McCowan Takes the Helm as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Debra McCowan now leads IFS’s human resources function. She was previously the CHRO at NetApp, Inc., a Fortune 500 global data infrastructure, AI, and cloud services company.

In her board-level role, Debra served as a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team at NetApp.

As IFS continues its rapid growth beyond 7,000 employees across 90 countries, Debra will build upon the HR transformation strategy already underway.

Her mission is to lead a high-performing global HR team, delivering progressive strategies. She will also lead initiatives that will rapidly expand and scale IFS’s footprint. 

Debra’s extensive global leadership experience in the technology sector makes her an excellent fit for this critical role.

Mark Moffat, IFS CEO, Welcomes the New Appointments

Mark Moffat, IFS CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions to the leadership team. She said, “I’m delighted that Helena and Debra are joining IFS at such a pivotal point in its growth journey.”
