Quick commerce firm Zomato has recently established a wellness centre at its Gurugram headquarters, announced founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal.

This facility is designed to provide employees and their families access to advanced therapies such as cryotherapy, red light therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Zomato CEO’s Wellness Initiatives

The wellness centre is part of Zomato’s broader commitment to employee health and well-being.

Deepinder highlighted that the company already has an in-house mental health team, a large company-owned gym, and a unique Chief Fitness Officer (CFO), Anmol Gupta, who joined the company in 2023.

Anmol collaborates with employees on wellness and healthy living, supported by an in-house team of trainers, nutritionists, and wellbeing counsellors.

In addition to the wellness centre, Zomato offers period leave and gender-neutral parental leave policies.

These initiatives reflect the company’s holistic approach to employee wellness, ensuring that both mental and physical health are prioritized.

Usage and Feedback

Deepinder mentioned that more than 200 people use the wellness centre regularly, with high repeat rates indicating its popularity.

Social media reactions have been largely positive, with users appreciating Zomato’s commitment to employee health.

However, some users have raised concerns about whether similar facilities are provided to delivery partners.

Deepinder promised that there will be more HR and people initiatives by the company in the near future.

This indicates Zomato’s ongoing efforts to enhance employee well-being and create a supportive work environment.
