Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Apna, a professional networking platform, to enhance talent acquisition for DPIIT-registered startups.

This collaboration aims to address hiring challenges and create job opportunities for young individuals while strengthening the startup ecosystem.

DPIIT – Apna Partnership: Details, Objectives and Impact

Under this partnership, DPIIT-registered startups will have access to Apna’s job postings. The AI-driven matching features will be tailored to their hiring needs.

This initiative will connect millions of young job seekers to high-growth and innovative roles.

Startups registered on the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) will receive hiring credits. Each startup will get Rs 2,000 worth of credits on Apna’s platform.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to empower startups. It will provide them with access to a vast pool of skilled workers.

Statements from Key Figures

Sanjiv Singh, joint secretary of DPIIT, highlighted the significance of this collaboration.

He said, “With this development, startups will be empowered as they become better equipped to tackle the challenges of a competitive market.”

Sanjiv added, “By navigating resource constraints more effectively, startups will gain access to a vast pool of skilled workers, connecting millions of young job seekers to high-growth and innovative roles.”
