Job Role and Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Architect role at Wipro involves a range of critical responsibilities aimed at enhancing the company’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
The selected candidate will be part of the Security Monitoring Incident Response team, working in a 24/7 environment that includes night shifts and rotational weekends.
Key responsibilities include monitoring, triaging, and analyzing security events and alerts, including malware analysis.
The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and the ability to query using KQL.
The candidate should be familiar with core concepts of security incident response, such as the typical phases of response.
They should also understand vulnerabilities, threats, actors, and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
Additionally, the role involves analyzing phishing emails, investigating EDR alerts, and using XSOAR platforms like Demisto and Phantom.
Required Skills and Experience
Wipro is looking for candidates with a strong technical understanding of network fundamentals.
They should be well-versed in common internet protocols, specifically DNS, HTTP, HTTPS/TLS, and SMTP.
Experience analyzing network traffic using tools like Wireshark and reviewing system and application logs is essential.
Knowledge of investigating security issues within cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is preferred but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or incident response team.
They should also have overall experience in Information Security, IT Security, or Network Security.
A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or an equivalent field is preferred.
