In partnership with Prajjo HR, SightsIn Plus jointly hosted a roundtable discussion at Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton, Golf Course Road, Sector 56, Gurugram on Saturday, 24th May 2025.

The theme of the discussion was “Misaligned KRAs – A Key Reason Behind Organizational Failure?”, bringing together senior HR professionals to talk about how unclear or poorly aligned Key Result Areas (KRAs) often lead to missed targets and weak performance across teams.

The event drew HR heads, business owners, and senior leaders who shared real-time problems and workable solutions around KRA alignment. The discussion made it clear that when employees don’t understand how their individual goals fit into the bigger picture, results are often off track.

Speakers covered ways to catch early signs of misalignment, how to link roles with company goals, and why steady communication is key. They also stressed the need for regular reviews and feedback to make sure KRAs stay useful and in line with changing needs.

Rajesh Tripathi, CEO of Prajjo HR, pointed out, “Too often, we set KRAs at the start of the year and never go back to review them. But businesses change. People’s roles change. If we don’t update goals to match that, we lose focus and results.”

Romesh Srivastava, Editor-in-Chief at SightsInPlus, added, “Most problems we see in teams aren’t about skills or effort. They come from a lack of direction. KRAs should guide people, not confuse them.”

The session closed with a shared view that while the fix may not be complex, it requires ongoing attention. With clear targets and frequent check-ins, companies can avoid common problems and work more effectively.
