Covid-19 changed the situation of working. There have been various companies that even overhired employees which led to layoffs.

According to a recent report of TOI, M Vignesh, a 24-year-old software engineer committed suicide by hanging himself in Padi.

Parents suspected when M Vignesh’s room remained locked for a long time and there was no response from his room. The door of his room was broken and he was found hanging in his room.

M Vignesh was sacked by an Ambattur-based IT firm in January. He could not find a job post being sacked which led him to take the extreme steps of suicide.

During the investigation, police recovered a suicide note from his room. He asked his mother to take care of her health and he apologized to his sister and mother. Additionally, he has not held anyone responsible for his suicide.
