The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has appointed Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani as Director -Human Resources.
Kalyan will be replacing Arvind Vadnerkar. Arvind has been serving as Director – Human Resources since October 14, 2019, and he is scheduled to retire in September this year.
Currently, Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani is working with BSNL since Jan 2015. There has been a total of 11 candidates including Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani who were interviewed by the PESB for the post of Director – Human Resources, at BSNL.
Out of 11 candidates, six candidates were from BSNL, two candidates were from Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), and one each was from NBCC (India) Limited, Indian Telecommunication Service, and Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.
Additionally, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has appointed A Malviya (GM, ECIL) for the post of Director (Personnel), Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL). Malviya will replace Samir Mukherjee retiring on 31 August 2023.
He will be appointed to the post of Director (Personnel) after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
