ABB India Appoints Vaibhav Srivastava as HR Head

ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation, has appointed Vaibhav Srivastava as the Country HR Head for India.

Vaibhav, who has been with ABB for over 17 years, steps into this leadership role after serving as Global HRBP – Operation Centres and Common Functions, Process Automation.

His extensive experience in human resources and workforce strategy positions him to lead ABB India’s HR transformation, ensuring continued emphasis on employee well-being, talent optimization, and digital HR solutions.

ABB India’s Vision for HR Leadership

The appointment of Vaibhav aligns with ABB India’s broader talent transformation agenda, particularly as the company deepens its investments in automation and digital solutions.

As workforce expectations shift, Vaibhav is expected to implement strategic talent development programs while strengthening employee engagement and diversity initiatives.

His leadership will also ensure ABB remains competitive in attracting top-tier talent, while refining its HR processes through data-driven insights and digital innovations.

Srivastava’s Career and Industry Expertise

Vaibhav brings over 23 years of experience in HR leadership, having worked across industries such as manufacturing, R&D, software development, and sales-driven enterprises.

Before joining ABB in 2007, he played key roles at Mahindra & Mahindra, Poddar Pigments, Jagatjit Industries, and Nestlé India, where he contributed to workforce expansion, corporate talent strategies, and leadership development.

His academic background includes an MBA in Human Resources from IPS Academy, Devi Ahilya University, complemented by a BTech in Dairy Technology from Rajasthan Agricultural University.

This multidisciplinary expertise enables him to integrate technical, operational, and people-focused leadership into ABB’s evolving HR landscape.
