BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company) has elevated Anant Garg to Vice President – Human Resources for Urology and Critical Care Global Business Unit.
In his new role at BD, Anant will leverage his extensive experience and strategic vision to drive the global HR agenda for the Urology and Critical Care Global Business Unit, contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.
Anant expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, and said, “I am glad to start a new position as VP – HR for BD’s Urology and Critical Care Global Business unit. It’s been a privilege to work with our Integrated Supply Chain and EMEA organizations, and I am very excited to join the fantastic team at UCC and be a part of the growth journey of the business.”
Extensive HR Background
Anant has two decades of experience in Human Resources. He joined BD in 2019 as Director – Human Resources for India and South Asia. In 2022, he was promoted to Senior HR Director, overseeing the Global Supply Chain and Europe Operations.
Before his tenure at BD, he had a successful career at Eli Lilly and Company, where he spent over eight years in various roles, culminating in his position as Director – Human Resources, India. His career also includes significant experience with Mercer Consulting and Accenture, where he honed his expertise in human resources management.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources and Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier management institutes. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
