Bharti AXA Life Promotes Amber Prakash to VP – HR

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has promoted Amber Prakash to the role of Vice President – Human Resources.

With this elevation, Amber joins the company’s Senior Management Team (SMT) and will lead strategic HR transformation across business lines, reinforcing the insurer’s focus on building a resilient and future-ready workforce.

A Journey of Growth: Amber Prakash’s 17-Year Tenure

Amber Prakash has been associated with Bharti AXA Life Insurance since 2008, steadily rising through the ranks over the past 17 years.

His career at the company spans a wide array of HR functions, including:

  • HR business partnering
  • Organizational design
  • Manpower planning and budgeting
  • Employee engagement and talent acquisition
  • Performance management systems (PMS)
  • Compensation and benefits
  • HR operations and shared services

Prior to joining Bharti AXA, Amber served as Manager – HR (North) at Tata Business Support Services, where he led regional HR strategy, anchored organizational development (OD) interventions, and rolled out key engagement programs.

He previously worked at ERA Group and Waldman Group. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in corporate HR, statutory compliance, and community development.

Amber holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University, further strengthening his academic credentials in the HR domain.
