Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited (Chola) has appointed Jeeva Balakrishnan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Background and Career Journey

Jeeva Balakrishnan brings over two decades of experience in HR roles across various industries.

He began his career as a management trainee at Su-Raj Diamond & Jewellery and later worked as an assistant manager-HR at Leela Scottish Lace.

His journey includes roles at TCNS, WethicA Worldwide, Hirdaramani Group of Companies, Intimark Mexico/Bannari Amman Apparel India, and Raymond Limited.

Before joining Chola, Jeeva served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer at Reliance Retail.

During his tenure, he focused on building a talent marketplace and promoting a coaching culture.

He also led HR for Reliance Market’s Cash and Carry Grocery business, showcasing his expertise in talent management and organizational restructuring.

Jeeva Balakrishnan’s appointment as CHRO of Cholamandalam Investment & Finance is a testament to his impressive career and expertise in HR management.
