Google appoints Shraddhanjali Rao as Head – HR, India

Shraddhanjali Rao joins Google India as Head- Human Resources. Prior to this, she was associated with SAP India since 2007, most recently she was working as Vice President and Head-HR, India at SAP.

Announcing her joining she said on social media, “I’m thrilled to announce that I have joined the incredible team at Google as Head of HR for India. Inspired by the opportunity to touch a billion lives and ultimately make the world a better place through data and technology”

“It’s an honour to work with such an innovative company filled with the brightest Talents brimming with passion,” she added

Shraddhanjali is a leader with extensive experience in designing and executing the people strategy for building a high-performance organization. Before joining SAP India, she worked with Tata Consultancy Services for close to 4 years.

Under her leadership, SAP Labs India has ranked #1 in India’s Best Companies to Work for by the Great Place to Work Institute in 2018 & 2019, along with being the Best Workplaces for Women and for Culture of Innovation and Certified as a Top Employer for 2019, 2020 & 2021.

Shraddhanjali was also awarded the Women Leadership Award by Observe Now in 2020, the Exceptional Women of Excellence 2017 by Women Economic Forum and is among Top 20 most voted HR Role Models in India in 2018.

She is passionate about Future of Work, Leadership, Inclusion, nurturing Startups and recently co-authored the book Why Blend In When You Can Stand Out? She believes that in order to change the game, you have to change the frame!

Shraddhanjali holds MBA in Human Resources and Marketing from T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) and also earned an Executive Education program in Digital Transformation from Harvard Business School.
