Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Madhuri Mehta as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 1, 2025.
In her new role, she will lead the company’s human resources function, steering initiatives that support Hero MotoCorp’s long-term growth, talent strategy, and organizational excellence.
Extensive Background and Experience
A seasoned HR leader with over 24 years of experience, she brings a proven track record of driving transformational change, fostering high-performance cultures, and aligning people strategies with business growth.
Madhuri joins Hero MotoCorp from Emaar India, where she served as CHRO and Head of Communities. At Emaar, she led large-scale HR transformations and organizational development initiatives, shaping a people-first culture across business verticals.
Prior to Emaar, she spent 16 years with Dalmia Bharat Group, holding multiple leadership roles, including HR Head – Cement Business, Corporate HR Head, and Executive Director – HR.
During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in performance management, talent strategy, cultural transformation, and HR integration during mergers and acquisitions. She also managed industrial relations across 14 manufacturing plants, strengthening workforce engagement and operational harmony.
Madhuri began her career with Bharti Airtel, where she contributed significantly to talent acquisition, performance management, and HR digitization during the company’s rapid growth phase.
Her appointment shows Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to strengthening its leadership bench and building a robust people strategy aligned with the company’s evolving business priorities.
With her extensive experience across diverse industries, Madhuri Mehta is expected to play a key role in enhancing organizational agility, fostering innovation, and shaping the next phase of Hero MotoCorp’s talent and culture journey.
