Hinduja Group Appoints Amit Chincholikar as Group President – HR

Hinduja Group has announced the appointment of Amit Chincholikar as its Group President – Human Resources.

Amit, who brings over 25 years of experience in human resources, will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions across the conglomerate’s diverse portfolio of businesses.

This appointment is expected to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to Hinduja Group.

His leadership will be crucial in navigating the complexities of managing a diverse and global workforce.

Joining Hinduja Group: Role and Responsibilities

In his LinkedIn post, Amit expressed his excitement about joining Hinduja Group, stating, “Privileged and humbled beyond measure to share that I begin my journey with Hinduja Group Limited as Group President – Human Resources”.

He looks forward to being part of the incredible group and contributing to building the future one step at a time.

As Group President – Human Resources, Amit will shape the HR strategy and policies. These efforts will support the growth and development of Hinduja Group’s workforce.

His role will involve fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance, aligning with the company’s vision and values.

Professional Background and Career Details

Prior to joining Hinduja Group, Amit served as the Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.

His extensive career includes senior roles at Tata Consumer Products, Tata Sons, Novelis, Aditya Birla Group, Universal Music Group, and Mercer.

Amit holds a Master’s in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.

Amit began his professional journey as Associate Director and Country Head, Rewards Practice at Mercer.

He later held positions at Universal Music Group as VP – HR, Aditya Birla Group as Group Head Rewards and Benefits, and Novelis as Director – Corporate Human Resources and Global HR Lead – Corporate Strategy Organisation.

His tenure at Tata Sons saw him rise from Vice President – Group Human Resources to Senior VP – Group HR.

In 2018, he moved to Tata Consumer Products, initially as Global CHRO Designate and later as Global CHRO.
