Home Centre India appoints Hiran Balaram as AVP & Head- HR

Home Centre India has announced the appointment of Hiran Balaram as Asst Vice President & Head- Human Resources. In this role, he will be responsible for the entire gamut of HR for the organization.

Hiran Balaram has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Asst Vice President & Head HR at Home Centre India!”

Hiran is an incisive professional with 18 years of experience in the ITES /Telecom and Retail industry. He has an in-depth understanding of market dynamics in HR, talent acquisition, and campus recruitment conceptualised and driven implementation of hiring plans and initiatives, relationship management with various businesses, training, and hiring teams, developed content, and delivered training programs to facilitate the learning and development needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to Home Centre India, Hiran was associated with Easybuy – Max Retail Division as GM-Head of Human Resources. In this role, he was responsible for various HR Functions. The responsibilities included a strategical role in ensuring the successful launch of Cross Geography HR Processes. He structured and implemented programs and policies in the areas of Recruitment, compensation structures, benefits packages, and incentives.

Previously, Hiran was associated with Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd as Sr. Manager -Head Talent Acquisition. He was responsible to lead the Talent Acquisition team across India to work collaboratively across the organization to drive a world-class Talent Acquisition function with the overall goal to recruit and hire exceptional talent.

Hiran has also worked with organizations such as Airtel, Spanco Telesystems, and Team HR Services Ltd (Randstad). He holds BBM- HR & Operations for Madras Christian College.
