HSBC appoints Gaurav Singh Panwar as VP- Human Resources

HSBC, a British multinational investment bank and financial services holding company has appointed Gaurav Singh Panwar as Vice President- Human Resources.

Announcing his joining on social media, Gaurav Singh Panwar said, “I am happy to share that I have joined HSBC today as Vice President – Human Resources.”

“I am excited about this new chapter in my professional life and looking forward to new learnings, experiences, and global connections…thankyou team HSBC for the warm welcome and seamless joining experience. I’m thrilled for the road ahead… May the coffee flow hot and the remembering of names begin!” He added.

He has nearly 15+ years of experience in human resources. His expertise is in progressive People Experience, Strategic Partnership, Solutioning Support to Business, Talent Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, and Engagement of talent.

Gaurav is also Diversity Champion, he has been involved in strategies and projects with India leadership and Employee Resource Groups to work on priorities related to Global Ethics, POSH, Gender, LGBTQ+, Disabilities, Generations, and Culture.

Prior to joining HSBC, Gaurav was associated with S&P Global as Director- People (India Strategic Projects Lead & People Partner), he worked with this organization for 5 years. And earlier to that, he was associated with Telenor, Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Ericsson, Sistema (MTS), and Vodafone.

Gaurav holds MBA from Indira Institute of Management and earned his bachelor’s in commerce from the University of Rajasthan.
