Infosys Appoints Indu Kapoor as Head – HR, Consulting Business

Infosys, a global leader in technology services and consulting, has announced the appointment of Indu Kapoor as the Head – Human Resources (HR) for its consulting business.

Indu is an alumnus of Delhi University, where she holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relationship & Personnel Management.

Her educational background and professional experience make her well-equipped to handle the challenges and responsibilities of her new role.

Role at Infosys

In her new role at Infosys, Indu Kapoor will be responsible for leading the HR functions of the company’s consulting business.

She will be based in Bengaluru and will focus on organizational talent strategy, culture and change management, leadership development, capability development, merger & acquisition, and integration.

Indu’s extensive experience and proven track record in HR management are expected to bring a fresh perspective to Infosys’ consulting business.

Her expertise in talent strategy and leadership development will be crucial in driving the company’s growth and success in the consulting sector.

Background and Experience

Indu Kapoor brings over two decades of experience in human resources.

She has held leadership roles across various industries such as insurance, banking, hospitality, food, retail, and logistics.

She has worked with renowned organizations including EXL, Alcatel-Lucent, and Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.

Indu began her career in 2001 as an HR generalist at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.

Over the years, she has held several key positions, including head of talent development at Alcatel-Lucent. Additionally, she served as VP-HR and global HR head at EXL.

She served as vice president-head, business HR at ITC Infotech before joining Infosys.
