Juniper Green Energy Appoints Varinder as AVP & Head – HR

Juniper Green Energy has appointed Varinder Singh as the Assistant Vice President and Head of Human Resources.

With this appointment, the company underscores its commitment to aligning HR leadership with its long-term growth plans across the renewable energy spectrum.

Varinder Singh’s Career Journey and Educational Qualifications

Varinder Singh brings over 14 years of diversified HR experience spanning the clean energy, education, and infrastructure sectors.

He served as General Manager – HR at Fortum India before joining Juniper.

During his tenure there, he led key initiatives focused on employee engagement, HR digitalization, and strategic hiring.

Earlier in his career, he held HR roles at Lovely Professional University and Tata Power, gaining cross-sector exposure in workforce planning, policy development, and leadership enablement.

Varinder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, a background that adds operational insight to his human capital strategies.

He brings broad professional experience and a people-first leadership style to the organization.

These strengths are expected to support Juniper’s evolving talent needs as it expands into transmission and hybrid energy solutions.
