Lenovo Promotes Yogesh Singhania to Dir, Global HR Services

Lenovo has promoted Yogesh Singhania to the role of Director – Global HR Services, effective July 2025.

This elevation comes within a year of his tenure as Global HR Services Head, expressing the company’s recognition of his operational leadership and impact on HR transformation.

Yogesh will now lead Lenovo’s global HR services function, overseeing end-to-end HR operations across geographies with a strong emphasis on compliance, data privacy, and service quality.

Career Journey at Lenovo

Yogesh’s association with Lenovo spans a decade, beginning in 2015 when he joined as an HR Analytics and Metrics Consultant.

His career progression within the company includes:

  • HR Analytics Manager (2017)
  • Global People Analytics Head (2020)
  • Senior Manager – Global HR Services (2024)
  • Director – Global HR Services (2025)

Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in integrating data-driven decision-making into HR operations and advancing Lenovo’s shared services strategy.

Previous Experience and Educational Background

Before joining Lenovo, Yogesh held roles at IBM Global Services and Infosys, where he worked in SAP ABAP development and HR analytics.

His early career included:

  • SAP-ABAP Developer at IBM (2010)
  • HR Analytics and Workforce Planning Lead at Infosys (2013)

He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and is an alumnus of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

His core competencies include:

  • HR service delivery and shared services strategy
  • AI and digital transformation in HR
  • People analytics and storytelling
  • Change management and M&A integration
  • Global team leadership
