Moder appoints Sowmya Aswath as Vice President- HR

A tech-forward outsourcing company, Moder has announced the appointment of Sowmya Aswath as Vice President- HR, APAC HR Head.

With over 20 years of experience in HR management, Sowmya brings a wealth of knowledge to fostering a thriving organizational culture.

Her impressive career journey spans a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, and HR operations and transformation.

On Sowmya’s appointment, the company said, “We are thrilled to welcome Sowmya Aswath as our new Vice President- Human Resources, APAC Head at Moder! We are excited to have Sowmya on board and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our team!”

She has a proven track record of delivering results across various HR specialties, including HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Relations, and HR Operations & Transformation.

She is passionate about delivering through a shared vision and is known among colleagues to be a team player with a focus on execution.

As a well-rounded HR practitioner with rich experiences across core functional HR areas of specialization, her roles have transcended various stages of enterprise growth cycles and have straddled country, regional, and global constructs.

Prior to Moder, Sowmya was associated with State Street as Vice President – Global Talent Acquisition Enablement. Her earlier stints include working with AXA and Firstsource.

She holds her PGCHRM in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and completed her Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Kuvempu University.
