An American multinational pharmaceutical company, MSD (Merck & Co.) has announced the appointment of Bhargavi Kakunuri as HR Lead, India.
Bhargavi Kakunuri will be a member of the India leadership team and the Asia Pacific HR leadership team. She will be replacing Sameer Tamhane as he will retire in November.
In this role, she will responsible for developing and implementing the HR strategy that drives innovation and business growth in India.

Bhargavi will report to Noora Alsagoff, Head of Human Resources, MSD Asia Pacific. She has over a decade of experience in the HR domain.
She joined MSD (Merck & Co.) from Procter & Gamble where she was HR Director, India Procter & Gamble Consumer Health Organization.
Bhargavi holds her Master of Business Administration (MBA), Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur.
